Sound Therapy Training

This two-day in-person certification training is designed for professionals in healthcare, mental health, movement, and holistic wellness fields who wish to incorporate sound therapy into their practice. The program integrates clinical and somatic applications of sound, offering evidence-informed tools to support nervous system regulation, trauma recovery, and mind-body integration.

Participants will explore therapeutic sound protocols, trauma-informed facilitation, and somatic sequences that combine mindfulness, movement, breath, and sound therapy. Certified by the Bioregulatory Medicine Institute and eligible for CE credits through Yoga Alliance, this training supports practitioners in deepening their understanding and application of sound as a healing modality across diverse settings.

Participants will receive educational materials, resources, and a comprehensive workbook. Instruments for practice will be provided by the instructor during the training.

Moira Lo Bianco’s company Íntegro Sonoro is committed to advancing integrative practices grounded in sound and encompassing the performing and healing arts. Its core mission is to reflect on the importance of deep listening as a way to foster a sense of wholeness, exploring the impact of sound on humans’ health and wellness while investigating the mind-body connection. Moira Lo Bianco has been immersed in and worked with sound since childhood; she is a composer and pianist, as well as a sound therapist, meditation, and yoga teacher. Moira is also a reiki master. As both a musician and a practitioner of the healing arts, Moira investigates the mind-body connection through the integration of the physical and the energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual bodies.As a healing arts practitioner, Moira specializes in somatic healing practices that integrate sound therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga, and reiki. As an educator, she has developed several curricula, bringing mindfulness into her teaching approach. She often presents her programs in collaboration with colleges, public schools, community-based organizations, hospitals, and clinics, reaching diverse populations of different ages and abilities. As a composer and pianist, Moira has released several albums and collaborated with a wide array of ensembles as well as solo artists, spanning the gap between written and unwritten music. Her multi-disciplinary work ranges from dance and video to visual art and installation projects. Moira has performed at venues like Carnegie Hall and Di Menna Center for Classical Music in New York City, the Villa Celimontana Festival in Rome, and the Newport Jazz Festival.

Hailing from Italy, Moira earned her BM and MM degrees from F. Torrefranca Conservatory and a BA degree from TorVergata University of Rome. Thanks to a scholarship, she earned a BM degree from Berklee College of Music. She has pursued advanced Yoga education and is an E-RYT 200, RYT-500, and YACEP with Yoga Alliance.

Moira received the Reiki Master attunement; additional certifications include Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Sound Therapy, Mindfulness Coaching, and Meditation. Moira is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Bioregulatory Medicine Institute, and she is a member of the International Association for Music and Medicine (IAMM). She is a Steinway Artist and a Steinway Educational Partner.
